Agreement adopted
23 October the Government passed a resolution ratifying the Agreement between the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and the Government of the Republic of Belarus on interregional and cross-border cooperation, as was announced by the Minister of Regional Development, Construction, Housing and Communal Services of Ukraine Hennadii Temnyk, the press service of the agency reports.
The Minister noted that adoption of the Agreement would allow to create the proper legal basis for further strengthening of direct economic ties between Ukraine and Belarus.
Implementation of the Agreement will promote the development of trade and economic, scientific and technical, social, cultural, ethnic, cultural and humanitarian cooperation between Ukraine and Belarus, infrastructure development of border regions, as well as cooperation in the field of education, health, information technology, energy, agriculture sector and in other sectors.
