The Verkhovna Rada did not support the draft resolution on cancellation of the decision on the approval of the law on the state budget for 2018.
Only 65 people’s deputies voted for the draft resolution on Wednesday while minimum 226 votes are required, Interfax-Ukraine reports.
According to the author of the draft resolution, non-affiliated people’s deputy Yuri Levchenko, the voting on the draft law on state budget for the next year should be cancelled, as it was conducted with the gross violation of requirements of the Constitution and regulation of the work of the Verkhovna Rada.
Therefore, after the parliament did not support the resolution on cancellation of voting for the state budget for 2018, Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada Andrei Parubii will sign the law on the state budget and send it for signing to President Petro Poroshenko.
