The export to Canada increased by 76%, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine reported.
The export of Ukrainian products to Canada increased by 76%, and the import from Canada – by 93% in 2017, Correspondent reported quoting Interfax-Ukraine with reference to Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin on Friday, December 22.
According to him, the potential of the growth of mutual trade between countries is significant.
“Just for this year, our export to Canada increased by 76%, and the import from Canada increased by 93%, which is almost twice a year”, the minister said.
He also added that the agreement on the free trade area between the countries can be extended to the scope of services and investments.
It should be reminded that the export of goods from Ukraine for January-October 2017 increased by 20.9% versus the same period of the last year and reached USD 35.18 billion.
