Naftogaz of Ukraine repaid the state-guaranteed bonds for 4.8 billion, issued in 2013, the press office of the company informs, ET reports.
Naftogaz notes that it refers to the scheduled repayment.
The whole amount of bonds, the income from which was 10% per annum, was purchased by Oshchadbank.
“During the period of circulation of bonds, Naftogaz timely and completely fulfilled obligations on them”, the company added.
It should be reminded that in October 2014, the Cabinet of Ministers approved the debt restructuring of Naftogaz of Ukraine NJSC to Oshchadbank.
As of April 2015, Naftogaz should repay the external loans – amounting to 1.7 bln dollars, out of which the state-guaranteed – 0.5 bln dollars (with the signed schedule of repayment until 2018).
As is known, on December 22, Naftogaz of Ukraine NJSC stated that it won the arbitration against Gazprom on the gas supply contract on all disputable issues.
The Stockholm arbitration also approved the decision that Naftogaz of Ukraine NJSC should not pay for gas, supplied by Gazprom, to the temporarily occupied territories of Donbass.
