The media company Discovery Communications and National Public TV and Radio Company of Ukraine PJSC concluded the agreement on broadcasting the Winter Olympic Games 2018 and Summer Olympic Games 2020, UNN reports quoting the broadcaster’s statement.
National Public TV and Radio Company of Ukraine PJSC concluded the sublicense agreement for the purchase of rights for broadcasting the Winter Olympic Games 2018 and Summer Olympic Games 2020 with the leading global media company Discovery Communication, the portfolio of which includes Eurosport, as the message says.
As is noted, it will allow the public broadcaster to broadcast the Olympic Games all over Ukraine. The competitions will be broadcast in SD and HD Simulcast format on the website UA:ПЕРШИЙ.
It is noted that TV channel will show important meetings and final stages of the main competitions in different sports, the total duration of which will be not less than 100 hours. The special attention will be paid to the most popular sports in Ukraine and performances of the national Olympic team. In addition, the spectators will be able to watch the events of the Olympic Games on Eurosport 1 and Eurosport 2.
