The government of Japan will provide Ukraine a non-reimbursable assistance, amounting to about 300 ths dollars for realizing four projects in healthcare and education, the press office of the embassy of Japan in Kyiv informs, UNN reports.
“The government of Japan will provide Ukraine a non-reimbursable assistance within the first stage of financing the support program of human safety projects “Kusanone” 2018, amounting to about USD 300 ths for implementing four projects in healthcare and education in Rivne, Sumy, Chernigiv regions and in Kharkiv”, the message says.
Signing four grant agreements with charity and public organizations will implement such projects and is planned on February 8.
The program of non-reimbursable assistance “Kusanone” is aimed at supporting the human safety and is provided by non-governmental and non-commercial institutions. The grant agreement of the second stage of financing will be signed in March 2018, the embassy added.
In general, since March 2014, Japan provided Ukraine the financial support for stabilization and stimulation of reforms in Ukraine for the total amount of USD 186 bln, according to the diplomatic institution.
