Ukraine Mission Chief Ron van Rooden reported necessity to start privatization of public enterprises for attracting investments in Ukrainian economy and fight against corruption, Finclub reports.
“Now, it is time to start selling public enterprises that will improve situation in the economy and situation with the corruption. The creation of the Anticorruption Court is considered to be a critically important addition to previously created NABU, SAPO and NAA”, he said during the meeting with Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Andrii Parubii.
Ron van Rooden also noted that Ukraine needs large investments, both internal and foreign.
Speaker of the Rada Andrii Parubii expressed hope that the process of privatization in Ukraine will start this spring. “I am full of optimism that we will have a positive decision”, he added.
