On February 22, Kernel, one of the largest Ukrainian agricultural groups, attracted the revolving credit line with the syndicate of European banks with a limit of $100 mln.
According to the company’s message on the website of Warsaw Stock Exchange, 2.5-year line will be used for replenishment of turnover capital in the export business in Ukraine, Finance.ua reports referencies to Iterfax-Ukraine.
Kernel is the world’s largest producer and exporter of sunflower oil, leading manufacturer and supplier of agricultural products from the Black Sea Basin region to global markets. Kernel exports its products to over 60 countries of the world.
In 2017 FY, the company decreased its net profit by 21.7% – up to $176.2 mln, and its profit increased by 9.1% – up to $2,169 bln.
In Q1, 2018 FY, Kernel decreased the net profit 2.8 times – up to $22.8 mln, while increasing the profit by 39.6% - up to $536.1 mln.
