Prime Minister of Ukraine Vladimir Groisman advocated toughening up the law on business protection during audits, establishing auditors’ liability for exceeding their duties, the press office of the government reported on Tuesday, April 10, Correspondent.net reports.
According to Groisman, the key task of a new commission, which is mainly composed of the representatives of business associations and the Office of Business Ombudsman, is the consideration of all cases of pressure on business.
“Exceeding duties – we will give our opinions and apply to law enforcement authorities, in order they take staffing decisions regarding dishonest employees. However, there will also be the requirements to the business – fair business, fair tax payment. This balance should be kept”, the Prime Minister said.
Previously, the Cabinet of Ministers published the list of state supervisory authorities, to which the Law on Temporary Specifics of Taking Measures of State Supervision (Control) in Business does not apply.
