“The reduction of shadow economy, expansion of the spheres of application of accounting and control measures, the implementation of innovative technologies in trade, in particular, retail trade, play the significant role in the sphere of protection of consumer rights”, S. Kubiv said.
As he specified, in Ukraine, there is a current concept, which determines the key directions of development of the state policy in protection of consumer rights for the period by 2020.
It should be noted that from April 4, 2018, the new rules of checking the enterprises, manufacturing food products, became effective in Ukraine.
Since now, the business will be checked more frequently, in particular, those companies, about which products the consumers complain more often.
Meanwhile, as People’s Deputy S. Trigubenko notes, the new law will not set off a wave of unscheduled business checks.
“I do not think that the ordinary consumer will fee some effect tomorrow. No. There won’t be a barrage of checks either. The controllers have the previously approved plan of measures, according to which they will works”, he specified.
