The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) imposed the fine, amounting to UAH 400 ths, on Ukrsibbank, Interfax-Ukraine reports.
The reason for sanctions, according to the regulator’s data, became the violation of the financial monitoring legislation, namely in terms of detecting whether the clients, their relatives and associated persons are the public figures.
Ukrsibbbank was founded in 1990. BNP Paribas S.A. (France) owns 59.9 of the authorized capital of the bank, the European Bank of Reconstruction and Development – 40%. Previously, DCH Group of Alexander Yaroslavsky owned the bank.
