Ukraine negotiates with U.S. on exempting from imposed tariffs on steel and aluminum imports, the press office of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade reports.
It is noted that from June 4, the Deputy Minister and Trade Representative of Ukraine Natalia Nikolskaya is in the United States of America with the working visit.
“The main topic of planned bilateral meetings is the exemption from U.S. imposed tariffs on Ukrainian metallurgic products”, according to MEDT message.
The meetings with the representatives of the Ministry of Trade, Department of State and the Office of U.S. Trade Representative are planned for that.
“The government and the Ministry of Economic Development pay much attention to the constant dialogue between Ukraine and U.S. on improving terms and enhancing capabilities for the access of Ukrainian products, including the metallurgic, to U.S. market. Because the U.S. market is traditional for Ukrainian products”, the ministry notes.
