Ukraine needs $60 billion of investments for improving the infrastructure, including the housing and communal services sector, Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade Mikhail Titarchuk said to UNN.
"Based on the audit results, Ukraine needs $35 billion for improving the existing infrastructure and other $25 billion for improving the infrastructure of the housing and utilities infrastructure. So, $ 60 billion in the aggregate" Titarchuk said.
According to him, it is possible to attract these funds, including through public-private partnership.
As Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade explained, the implementation of projects in public-private partnership will ensure improvement of the quality of received services: medicine, energy, water.
"This will affect all spheres related to people's lives, if this way is a quality way. And most importantly, it is the creation of new jobs," Titarchuk said.
