The acting Minister of Finance emphasized that it does not see prerequisites for reducing budget expenditures in the current year.
As per results of five months of 2018, the state budget is executed for 100%, the acting Minister of Finance Oksana Markarova told during interview with UA: Pershy, Ukrinform reports.
“For five months, the common fund budget is executed for 99%, and if we take into account the special fund, then the budget is executed for 100%, i.e. for five years, we have a complete execution”, Markarova noted.
According to her, some types of income were received less than planned indicators, some were more, but she assured this all is a normal working process.
The acting minister reminded that the budget deficit is about 80 billion hryvnias, but during the last three years, it regularly decreases.
Markarova also indicated that she does not see prerequisites for reducing the budget expenditures in the current year; however, it provides for its upward revision of the expenditure.

It should be reminded that the state budget revenues for 2018 are UAH 917.9 billion, expenditures – UAH 991.7 billion.
The maximum limit of state budget deficit in 2018 is UAH 80.6 billion or 2.4% GDP that corresponds to IMF cooperation program.
