Decision adopted
National Commission on Securities and Stock Market at a regular meeting on 10 December 2013 adopted a decision «On Approval of the Procedure for reporting on the clearing activities to the National Commission on Securities and Stock Market», the regulator’s press service informs.
«The draft of this Regulation specifies the procedure for reporting, such as order of preparation and deadlines for submission of administrative data by those engaged in clearing activities, on exercising this kind of professional activity to the National Commission on Securities and Stock Market. The present paper applies to legal entities licensed to engage in clearing activities. Currently, a single entity has the license - Clearing House for Contracts Traded in Financial Markets», said Iryna Kurochkina, Director of the regulation of depository, clearing and settlement activities NSSMC.
According to Ms. Kurochkina, this document obliges entities conducting clearing activities to submit daily and quarterly administrative data. In particular, these details, together with administrative data from other participants of the depository system, will allow the regulator to get a complete array of information needed to monitor data on conclusion and implementation of contracts on the stock market.
Commission designed this regulatory act in accordance with Articles 7 and 8 of the Law of Ukraine «On State Regulation of Securities Market in Ukraine».
