As INTERFAX.RU reports, CB RF provided 1 trln 134 bln rubles to reorganized FC Otkrytie, Binbank, Promsviazbank (PSB) and Asian-Pacific Bank (APB) for maintaining the liquidity, out of which these loan organizations already repaid 867 bln rubles to the regulator, Bank of Russia reported to Interfax.
The outstanding debt of these banks to CB as of October 24, 2018, was 267 bln rubles, the regulator noted.
Meanwhile, these loan organizations hold 671.8 bln rubles on deposits in CB, the representative of the Bank of Russia added.
Last year, during several months, CB decided to reorganize three large banking groups through the Banking Sector Consolidation Fund (BSCF): on August 29, it reported on the recovery of Otkrytie bank, Binbank – 21 September, Promsviazbank – 15 December 2017. On April 26, 2018, the regulator reported on APB reorganization through BSCF.
