Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales conducted a review of business confidence in the UK and noted a record index, despite of the fact that the decline in exports gives cause for concern, the BBC news informs.
The report states that business confidence grows for six consecutive quarters. The company has recorded the fastest growth in investment since 2008. However, export performance continues to decline. Economists see this as an imperfect policy. In addition, the economic recovery is moving not as fast as expected due to the lack of qualified workers.
The most successful sector of the British economy today is the construction and banking. The level of business confidence in these areas is the highest.
