China’s GDP growth slowed in the latest quarter to a six-year low of 6.9%, as it is said in the report of the National Bureau of Statistics of China, Prime reports.
“As per previous data, the China’s GDP in the 1st quarter stood at 7%, in the second – 7% and in the third quarter – 6.9%”, - the report says.
“In the first three quarters of 2015 due to a weak recovery of global economy, the Chinese economy came under pressure. In difficult conditions the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China adopted some measures for the stabilization of economic growth, further promotion of reforms and openness policy. As a result, the overall economy stabilized and continued its dynamic positive growth”, the reports says.
The official representative of the State Statistical Bureau, replying to the question on the reasons for slowdown, noted at the press-conference that in spite of the growth slowdown to 6.9%, the China’s economy is still in a stable condition.
The index was slightly above the expectations of economists, who expected the growth slowdown of China’s economy in the third quarter to 6.8%.
According to the data, fixed capital investment also slowed within the first three quarters.
