Iran includes a crude oil price into budget in 2016-2017 at $40 per barrel, as it was said by the Minister of Petroleum Bijan Namdar Zangeneh, Minfin reports.
According to him, such price for crude oil will depend on the volatility on the crude oil market.
Responding to the question regarding further crude oil price decrease, Zangeneh noted that we should not predict a bad scenario.
“The necessary work has been conducted before we can suppose that the most exact and the most likely crude oil price has been included into budget, though the market has a tendency to fluctuate”, IRNA quotes the minister’s words.
In the 1st half of 2015 the average Iranian crude oil price was $54 per barrel, said Zangeneh.
Specifically, he noted that government does not have any plan on price liberalization for crude oil products.
