Western Union has concluded agreement with Viber on provision of financial services, so Viber users could make money transfer worldwide, Findclub reports.
The first updated version of the program, based on API-platform WU Connect will become available for US citizens, which will be able to send maximum 499 dollars a time more than to 200 countries of the world, where the beneficiary will be able to take cash in 500 ths Western Union points.
Payments can be made without exiting application – through choosing the phone number of funds receiver.
In addition, developers promise reliable currency exchange and data management technologies as well as observance of anti-money-laundering legislation.
“Our users already use Viber to stay in touch with their friends and family anywhere in the world, that’s why the possibility to send money to our relatives is the natural move in our development”, - the Viber Operations Director Michael Shmilo noted.
