According to the Minister, only technical issues are left to be solved in the negotiations between Ukraine and IMF, Correspondent.net reports.
Minister of Finance of Ukraine Alexander Danyliuk considers that there’s possibility of consideration by the management of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) of the allocation of the next loan tranche to Ukraine in July.
“There’s still a probability that the Board of Governors meeting can take place in July, there’s still such a probability. If it happens in July, it means, we will receive funds in early August”, the Minister said during the interview on Inter channel.
Danyliuk noted that technical issues are left to be solved in the negotiations between Ukraine and IMF.
Meanwhile, according to him, if the question of Ukraine is not considered in July, then the Board of Governors will be able to consider it after its vacation period in late August.
“We have a preliminary plan – these are 3-4 billions of dollars in three tranches and we expect to receive all three tranches”, the Minister emphasized.
It was previously reported that the IMF Board of Governors will consider the issue on continuation of cooperation with Ukraine on EFF program after the country fulfills certain technical obligations.
