US Administration investigates how the information about phone conversation of President Donald Trump with foreign leaders appears in mass media, RIA News reports quoting the statement of the official spokesperson of the White House Sean Spicer.
“We investigate the situation, and it causes concern”, The Hill quotes Spicer. According to him, “some of these leakages represent the obvious violation of operating rules and laws”.
The White House Spokesperson did not specify what kind of investigation is conducted. Meanwhile, he emphasized that the President is personally concerned about the existing situation. “Of course, he is concerned about it. The fact, that he cannot conduct negotiations without leakages, causes concerns”, he said.
Previously Reuters reported that during the recent conversation with President of Russia Vladimir Putin, Trump denounced СНВ-III agreement. During the regular briefing, Spicer refused to discuss the subject, noting that it was a private conversation between two leaders.
In addition, the mass media reported that Trump spoke harshly with Prime Minister of Australia and President of Mexico. The US President refuted these statements later.
