Later the draft law on sanctions should be considered in the Senate and then, if approved, will be submitted for signing to the President.
U.S. House of Representatives approved the draft law on sanctions against Russia, Iran and DPRK, RIA News reports.
It is reported that 419 congressmen voted for the document, three – against.
The votes of two thirds of members of the house (the house has a total of 435 members with the right to vote) are required for approving the document. The voting results demonstrate that the house will be able to override President’s veto in case, if he refuses to sign the document.
New sanctions in case of approval can become broad-scale and complex since early 2014. The document, in particular, includes the paragraph, which obligates the President to approve any easing or cancellation of sanctions with legislators.
