Flynn could start cooperating with the special counsel on Russian case.
Former Assistant to the President for National Security Affairs Michael Flynn could start cooperating with U.S. special counsel in the case of Russia’s interference by Robert Mueller, Correspondent.net reports, quoting The New York Times with reference to their own sources.
Flynn’s attorneys reported to the lawyers of President Donald Trump that he cannot discuss the investigation of Mueller with them.
Previously, there was the agreement between the teams of lawyers; however, Flynn’s party terminated it. According to the newspaper, it points out that the former advisor cooperates with the special counsel or intends to conclude a deal with him.
It should be reminded that Flynn resigned after it became known about his contacts with Russian Ambassador Sergei Kislyak on anti-Russian sanctions. He denied giving any statements to U.S. Senate in the case on his ties with RF.
