Austrian company MS AG, which supplies the electronic components to Apple and Samsung Electronics, increased proceeds in Q4 of 2017 by 252%, up to 470.3 mln euros, thanks to the high demand for new iPhone models, according to the company’s reports.
AMS shares increased in price by 25% during the auction in Zurich on Monday. The optimism of investors in regard to this segment also ensured increase of the cost of shares of Dialog Semiconductor by 3.7%, STMicroelectronics – by 5%, Finance.ua reports quoting Financial Times.
As per the results of 2017, in total, the proceeds of AMS increased by 93%, up to 1.1 bln euros. The increase without currency fluctuations was 100%.
The aggregate rates of the average annual growth in 2016-2019 will probably be 60%, as expected by AMS. According to the company’s estimates, in 2019, its proceeds will increase by 2.2 bln euros.
AMS also produces the sensors, used in iPhone X facial recognition system.
