The most common place of registration is Kiev
In 2013 in Ukraine there were registered over 200 thousand (211216) entities, among which 50255 – legal entities, and 160961 - individual entrepreneurs, the press service of the State Registration Service informs.
Thus the capital became the leader in the number of newly established small businesses, where 13,957 individual entrepreneurs registered in the last year, which is almost every 12-th citizen in Ukraine.
The second largest place for the small business activity is a Donetsk region - 13884, Kharkiv region is in the top three - 10597 items.
It should be noted that the least number of businesses registered in Chernivtsi (2791), Ternopil (2897), and Volyn (2993) regions.
