Press service of the Ministry of Social Policy of Ukraine reported that pensions and establishment of social justice on their size are the main tasks of the Pension Fund of Ukraine in 2014.
"Increasing the pension is based on the last year’s adopted changes to the legislation, which will begin on the first of March. This will make it possible to gradually eliminate disparities in pension benefits and ensure their sustainable growth" - said Natalia Korolevska.
In total, according to Natalia Korolevska, this year has three stages of raising the minimum pension, the first of which – is 20 % of the growth in wages. The second stage falls on 1 of July, the third - October 1, 2014 in connection with the growth of a living minimum.
"Thus, since October 1 the country forgets about pensions below 1,000 UAH", - noted the Minister.
However, she noted that in the current economic and political crisis, it is important that people had confidence that they will receive due payments timely". It is essential that people generally forget about delays.
