The process of approval of local budgets for 2014 is going on in Ukraine
As of 31 January 2014 they adopted 3539 local budgets of different levels, or 29.3% of the total, the press service of the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine reports.
The biggest number of budgets is approved in Kiev (99.9 %), Sumy (97%), Odessa (94.2 %), Poltava (86.4%) and in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea (86%).
487 local budgets are adopted, or 70.2 % from 694 local budgets that have direct intergovernmental relations with the state budget and the deadline for approval of February 3, 2014 (inclusive), including:
- The republic’s budget of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea;
- 15 (62.5 %) regional budgets (Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, Zhytomyr, Zaporizhia, Kyiv, Kirovohrad, Luhansk, Mykolaiv, Odesa, Poltava, Sumy, Kherson, Cherkasy, Chernihiv region);
- City of Sevastopol budget;
- 138 (77.1 %) city budgets of (republic) regional significance;
- 332 (68%) district budgets.
In this case, all the budgets that have direct intergovernmental relations with the state budget are approved in Crimea, Kiev, Odessa, Poltava and Sumy regions.
