Tax returns to be filed by May 1
The income tax returns stating property possessed and income received by citizens in 2013 are filed to the tax bodies located at the payer’s address, in other words, at the place of registration indicated in the passport. This should be done by May 1 of this year.
Please note that the process of declaring the income received by the citizens during 2013 commenced on January 1, 2014.
The declaration of personal income received by natural persons is being carried out in conformity with the norms of the Tax Code of Ukraine (hereinafter – the Code). Pursuant to the Code the citizens of Ukraine are liable to submit annual tax returns declaring their properties and income and/or they have the right to submit it so that to obtain tax reliefs and get a refund of individual income taxes paid to the countries budget. The tax payers can submit an application for tax relief based on the 2013results throughout the year.
