An agreement will be signed on June 5
The Head of the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine Maxim Burbak announces that the agreement with the European Union regarding flexible use of airspace will be signed on June 5, 2014, The Glavkom reports.
According to the Minister, the agreement was supposed to be signed on March 14. «For technical reasons our EC partners have extended this term», - Mr. Burbak shared.
«Recently I had a meeting with the EU Ambassador to Ukraine Jan Tombinski, where an issue of conclusion of the agreement for common use of airspace was discussed among others. Even more, during a visit of the delegation headed by Commissioner Stefan Fule we agreed the deadline is on June 5, 2014. The agreement will be signed», - the Minister said.
Furthermore, he added that there are some supporting procedures - the so called adaptive «cushion» - to help our companies meet the requirements: the agreement will come into force in May next year. «This means they have time to prepare», - said Mr. Burbak.
