The bonds to make VAT refunds
On July 8, 2014 the Ukraine’s Ministry of Finance issued domestic government bonds to make VAT refunds with a value of UAH 7 billion, the Finance’s press-office reports.
The issue of bonds was made based on the data from the register of VAT amounts declared prior refunding happened on January 1, 2014, which were not refunded on the date on which Law of Ukraine On Government Budget of Ukraine for 2014 came into force; the data was validated after checks carried out on July 4, 2014; the proposal was submitted by the Ministry of Revenue & Duties and approved by the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine.
The amount of VAT refunds via the first issue of domestic government bonds totals UAH 3576 728 hryvnias. The bonds have been issued to finance: ISD Corporation, PJSC ArcellorMittal Kryvy Rig, OJSC Poltavsky GZK, Kernel-Trade Ltd., SunTrade subsidiary.
Parameters of the bond issue:
Face value per bond is UAH 1 000.
Taxes and amortization amounts are to be paid on January 6, 2015,
July 7, 2015; January 5, 2016; July 5, 2016; January 3, 2017,
July 4, 2017; January 2, 2018; July 3, 2018; January1, 2019,
July 2, 2019.
Date of full redemption is July 2, 2019
