VAT bonds in the amount of UAH 2,17 billion
On July 28, 2014, the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine issued the 2nd series of domestic government bonds for VAT refund, following resolution No 139 adopted by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine on 21.05.2014, titled On Issue of Government Bonds in Domestic Currency for VAT Refund within the limit determined in the resolution adopted by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine on 18.06.2014, №187, in the amount of 7 000 000 thousand hryvnias, the press-office of the Ukraine’s Ministry of Finance reports.
The records at issue, in the register of VAT deductions, show the VAT deductions subject to reimbursement until January 1, 2014 were declared in the tax returns and not refunded as of the date of coming into effect the law of Ukraine On Government Budget for 2014, which were confirmed by the findings revealed through audit №2 carried out on July 25, 2014, based on the data collected by the National Fiscal Service of Ukraine and approved by the Minister of Finance of Ukraine.
199 taxpayers have been listed in the said above register. Total amount of reimbursement through VAT refund adds up to UAH 2 171 200 thousand.
Parameters of the bond issue are as follows:
Face value per bond is UAH 1000.
Taxes and amortization amounts are to be paid on January 26, 2015; July 27, 2015; January 25, 2016; July 25, 2016; January 23, 2017; July 24, 2017; January 22, 2018; July 23, 2018; January 21, 2019; July 22, 2019.
Date of full redemption is July 22, 2019.
