NBU’s resolution No449
The National Bank of Ukraine has rescinded restrictions on transactions in foreign currency made by individuals, says resolution №449 passed by the NBU’s Board on July 28, 2014, titled On Changes to NBU’s Resolution dd. May 30, 2014, No 328, RBK-Ukraine (РБК-Україна) reports.
In particular, the letter explains that both the legislative norm setting the limit at UAH 15 thousand on transactions in foreign currency in case an account is not opened, as well as the norm specifying transactions made from the current account amounting from UAH 15 thousand to UAH 150 thousand a month, have been cancelled.
Besides, from now on, the restrictions on issue of cash in local currency not exceeding UAH 150 thousand a day, per customer, will not apply to the amounts secured by the Deposit Guarantee Fund.
