The amount exceeds 26 billion hryvnias
In Ukraine, in January-June of 2014 receipts for telecommunication, postal and courier services as compared to a similar period of 2013 surged up to 1.1% and made up 26,083,400 hryvnias, RBK-Ukraine (РБК-Україна) reports citing the National Statistics Service of Ukraine. However, the profits obtained from rendering services to the population have lowered by 1.1% - up to 16, 290, 000 hryvnias.
The most profitable sector is from the sale of mobile communication services - 14, 938,100 hryvnias, that is 4% less than the current figures being released.
The profits from computing and Internet services for the 1st half of 2014 have grown by 36.2% making up 3, 655, 900 hryvnias.
Local traffic receipts total 2, 878, 000 hryvnias (+1.1%), while domestic long-distance – 1, 104, 800 hryvnias (-2.5%).
The revenue gained from postal services in January-June of 2014 has dropped by 2.6% and equalled 1, 539, 200 hryvnias, from television and radio broadcasting services – has fallen by 2.2%, up to 1, 081,100 hryvnias.
