The index has grown by 4%
Since the beginning of the year the taxpayers registered in Kyiv have paid 23.7 billion hryvnias to the government coffer, Acting Chair of General Directorate of the Ministry of Revenue & Duties in Kyiv city Ihor Bondarenko said, the ministerial press-office reports.
According to the Acting Chair of the MRD’s General Directorate, by comparison, that is taking into account the migration of taxpayers and updates to the legislation, tax receipts and dues as compared to a similar period a year ago increased by 906 million hryvnias, or that is by 4 %.
The main taxes that refill the budget are as follows:
– 8.80 billion hryvnias of VAT receipts from sale of products made in Ukraine;
– 4.173 billion hryvnias of income tax;
– 7.672 billion hryvnias of individual income tax;
– 234 million hryvnias of excise duty on taxable products made in Ukraine;
– 173 million hryvnias in the form of additional surcharge added to the existing rate for natural gas for consumers of all ownership types, etc.
In January-August of 2014 the taxpayers registered in Kyiv city have paid to the government budget seventeen billion six hundred twenty three million hryvnias.
Since the beginning of the year the Kyiv municipal budget has been refilled by six billion ninety one million hryvnias, that is 5 % increase or 299 million hryvnias more as compared to a similar period a year ago.
