The VR’s meeting is being held
The following parties: Petro Poroshenko Bloc, Narodny Front (People’s Front), Oleg Liashko Radical Party, Samopomich Association Party (Self-Help) and Batkivschyna All-Ukrainian Union Party have announced that they agreed to form a coalition in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine of the eighth convocation, according to Volodymyr Groisman, Chair of Interim Presidium of the new Verkhovna Rada, a parliamentarian from Petro Poroshenko Bloc, who said that during a short break between the parliamentary sessions of the Verkhovna Rada, RBK-Ukraine (РБК-Україна) reports.
“We’re holding a meeting of political parties in order to form a coalition of the fraction deputy groups. I’m inviting to take the places in the Presidium: Leader of Petro Poroshenko Bloc – Yury Lutsenko, Olexander Turchynov – from Narodny Front (People’s Front), Yulia Timoshenko - from Batkivschyna AU Party, Oleg Bereziuk – from Samopomich, Oleg Liashko – from Radical Party. There are leaders of the five political parties in the Presidium that will enter the coalition. We have little time left, about 20 minutes, afterwards we are to announce about the creation of the coalition“, - said Groisman.
He reminded that the text had been drafted before: “The text of the agreement was initialled on November 20, this year. I’m putting up the question on formation of the coalition for voting! We are voting by show of hands! Unanimously!», - announced Groisman.
