The National Bank of Ukraine expects the GDP of Ukraine to fall by 4-5% in 2015, the NBU press-office reports.
“According to the GDP-drop estimates made by the NBU specialists, it will fall by 6.7% in 2014 and 4-5% in 2015 that, first of all, has a structural nature. And, although a GDP negative gap is rather essential ranging 8-9% of the hypothetical GDP, according to the assessments of the NBU specialists, convergence in actual GDP, regarding medium-term growth prospects, is possible if it is backed by macro-financial stability and tight monetary policy”, - the message says.
