On April 2, 2015, the National Bank of Ukraine held a presentation of the first issue of the inflation report, according to the information made available by the NBU.
The inflation report is a traditional name of the comprehensive analytical case studies on the monetary policy made by global central banks. Typically, these reports provide the rationale for passing decisions and undertaking measures to achieve goals and objectives of the monetary policy in the future by applying the macroeconomic analysis and forecasts.
Today, the practice of publishing this report has been launched on a regular basis. The analytical researches will be published quarterly – in a week after the quarterly meeting of the Committee dealing with the monetary policy, the agenda of which, among other things, raises an issue of t updating the macroeconomic forecast.
