Microsoft has launched its first laptop ever - Surface Book. The device was presented on October 6, RBC-Ukraine (РБК-Украина) reports.
The company claims that the Surface Book has a 13.5-inch PixelSense display with resolution of 3000x2000 pixels, and a pixel density of 267ppi. The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 4 (glass with high scratch and impact resistance). There is a new stylus too. The company is calling it Surface Pen and it comes with an eraser.
The laptop also comes with latest processors from Intel and NVIDIA GeForce dedicated graphics.
As the company noted, the Surface Book is the most powerful 13-inch laptop in the world and is twice as fast as the Apple MacBook Pro.
By the way, Surface Book can be converted into tablet as the keyboard is completely detachable. The tablet has the unique snake-like dynamic fulcrum hinged system. The touchscreen can be detached from dock-station by pressing a small button on the screen.
The Microsoft Surface Book will start at $1499, become available for pre-order on October 7th and is coming on October 26th.
