Next year the project, funded by World Bank and aimed at implementation of electronic medical cards and patients registry, will start in Ukraine, the minister of Healthcare of Ukraine Alexander Kvitashvili, Ukrinform said in the interview, Ukrinform reports.
“We have funding from World Bank and from 2016 we will start creating the unified electronic system of registry of patients and electronic medical cards”, - Kvitashvili said.
He told that in the Clinic of Administration of State Affairs the conference participants were demonstrated an electronic informational system, which unites 13 medical facilities of the Administration of State Affairs and 40 ths patients. According to Kvitashvilli, such “oases”, where the electronic patient accompaniment system is already built for 100%, are also in Poltava, Kirovograd, Kherson, but not united among themselves.
“Here we were shown an ideal system, which will be able to work within the whole country. And it is very pleasant for me that such large work has already been done, and demonstrates everything we want to do in reforming of healthcare,” – the minister noted.
He told that all information about diagnosis and patient treatment is filled in the electronic medical card on the primary and secondary level. “The main thing is that the electronic card, shown to us here, includes all the prices, all the expenses, and the patient sees not only the doctor’s work, but also the very last ampoule, how many were spent on the procedure”, noted Kvitashvili.
