Government expects to obtain USD 10 billion of financial aid from international partners this year.
The Ministry of Finance expects up to $10 bln of funding in 2016 from international partners, said Minister of Finance Natalia Yaresko, giving speech to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, Correspondent.net informed on its site.
“In the current year we expect to obtain up to $10 billion from international partners for budget and investment needs”, - she said.
The Minister told who and how much will lend Ukraine this year:
Up to $5.8 bln are expected from IMF;
$1 bln – from the USA;
From Japan, including “Bortnychy Project” – up to $1.3 bln;
From Switzerland – $0.2 bln;
From the EU – EUR 1.2 bln, plus EUR 170 mln – in grants;
From Poland – EUR 100 mln;
From Germany – EUR 300 mln, plus EUR 50 mln – for investment projects;
From EBRD selectively $177 mln for realization of investment project, plus $1.1 bln – for initiation of new investment projects;
From the European Investment Bank - $175 mln for realization of existing projects, plus $1.1 bln – for initiation of new investment projects.
From the World Bank - $210 mln for realization of investment projects, plus $1.5 bln – for initiation and preparation of new loans.
It should be noted that the Cabinet of Ministers previously stated that in 2016 it plans public borrowings in the amount of UAH 203 bln, including external borrowings – UAH 104 bln
