The President and the Prime Minister will have a meeting with G7 ambassadors.
On Thursday, February 4, President Petro Poroshenko will have a meeting with ambassadors of G7 countries for clarification of situation with reforms in the country and in the government, said EU ambassador in Ukraine Jan Tombinski, Corresponden.net reports.
“The President and the Prime Minister have invited ambassadors of G7 countries in order to explain the path how it will be”, - he said to journalists on Thursday in Kyiv.
Poroshenko: Reforms have started in Ukraine, but they need time.
Replying to the question on what this conversation will be about, Tombinski clarified that everything is connected with “government, reforms”.
In the meantime Tombinski believes that current situation with Ukrainian government will not impact reforms in Ukraine and financial cooperation with other countries and international institutes.
“What is important for us – to preserve all these reforms, which have already been implemented, and consolidate the sense of reforms”, he stated.
The ambassador emphasized that what expects to the information around the current situation from the Prime Minister and the President. “We are interested in information and clarification from the President and the Prime-Minister, but we are confident that this will not result in any radical changes and the path of reforms will not be changed”, Tombinski said.
In December President Petro Poroshenko reportedly announced about the reloading of the Cabinet of Ministers.
