The relevant resolution has been endorsed by 194 people’s deputies out of 226 minimum required.

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine did not endorse the draft resolution №4080 “On Responsibility of the Cabinet of Ministers (regarding the adoption of resolution on impeachment of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine)”, RBC-Ukraine reports.

The relevant resolution was endorsed by 194 people’s deputies out of 226 minimum required. In particular, 97 people’s deputies from faction “Block of Petro Poroshenko”, 25 people’s deputies from "Samopomich", 15 people’s deputies from "Batkivshchyna" and from Radical Party of Oleh Liashko, 8 deputies from "Oppositional Block", 6 people’s deputies  from deputies’ group "People’s Will" and 28 non-affiliated deputies voted for impeachment of the Cabinet of Ministers. In the meantime, the faction “People’s Front” and deputies’ group “Vidrodzhennya” did not endorse the resolution.

According to the document, the decision was adopted after consideration of the question about the responsibility of government as per proposal of 159 people’s deputies from the constitutional composition of parliament in accordance with the first part of Article 87 of the Constitution of Ukraine.

It should be emphasized that in accordance with regulations of the Verkhovna Rada, till the end of current session the parliamentarians cannot return to consideration of the question on resignation of the Cabinet of Ministers. Thus the government obtained the immunity until September 2016.

After voting the Chairman of the VRU Volodymyr Groisman announced about the closure of evening meeting of the parliament.

The people’s deputy from faction “Block of Petro Poroshenko” Mustafa Nayem emphasized on his Facebook page that during the consideration of the resolution on impeachment of the Cabinet of Ministers the deputies from faction “Oppositional Block” and deputies’ group “Vidrodzhennya” left the session hall.

“During the consideration of the resolution on the resignation of the Cabinet of Ministers the deputies of the Oppositional Block, close to Rinat Akhmetov, and Vidrodzhennya, close to Ihor Kolomoiskyi, left the session hall. This is all what you need to know about the government of Arsenii Yatseniuk”, the VR deputy noted.

It should be reminded that more than 150 people’s deputies signed the resolution on resignation of the Cabinet of Ministers.

The President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko urged the Prosecutor General Victor Shokin and the Prime-Minister Arsenii Yatseniuk to resign.

According to Poroshenko, the total reformatting of the Cabinet of Ministers should be carried out based on the current coalition on the composition of “Solidarity”, “People’s Front”, “Samopomich” and “Batkivshchyna”.
