The Head of Odessa RSA Mykhail Saakashvili really proposed Minister of the MIA Arsen Avakov to become the Prime-Minister, Correpondent.net reports.
“I know exactly that this conversation was. But Misha cannot propose the premiership to me, Misha is the governor. The conversation was, as it seems to me, that way: Arsen Avakov really is the leader of the People’s Front. And after the history with Barna (Oleh Barna – people’s deputy, who tried to carry away Arsenii Yatseniuk from the tribune of the Rada), the behavior of Arsen Borysovych let us understand where the force point is,” said the people’s deputy.
“Mykhail is the man who sincerely plays, he can come and say to you: “Arsen, I have an option!” I think that the conversation was this. There was a conversation, it’s true”, - Naiem said.
He also expressed his opinion that Saakashvili could be the elected Prime-Minister if it weren’t for the conflict with Avakov.
“His conflict with Avakov at the session of the Council of Reforms was a big mistake. I am fully confident, knowing the whole prehistory of these relationships, that if it weren’t for this conflict, now Misha would have the possibility to be the elected Prime-Minister, including the votes of the People’s Front. I don’t have any doubt on it”, said the people’s deputy.
It should be reminded that previously the Head of the MIA Arsen Avakov stated that one day before the incident with the glass during the Council of Reforms Saakashvili proposed him the post of the Prime Minister. Saakashvili denies Avakov’s words on the premiership.
As Correspondent.net reported, in December during the session of the National Council of Reforms there was a conflict between Avakov and Saakashvili. The minister squirted water to the governor’s face. In his turn, Saakashvili accused the Head of the MIA in corruption and control of informal military formations.
