During the official visit of President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko to Japan (April 4-7, 2016) the Memorandum on Cooperation between the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine and the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technologies of Japan in youth, physical culture and sports spheres, was signed. This Memorandum became the first bilateral document on cooperation in these spheres between Ukraine and Japan for the year of Ukraine’s independence.
The specified document will ensure necessary legal conditions for development of Ukrainian-Japanese relationships in the spheres of youth, physical culture and sports and will allow to significantly intensify cooperation in these spheres through cooperation of central executive authorities, responsible for formation and realization of state policy in youth, physical culture and sports spheres in Ukraine and Japan and in non-governmental youth and sport organizations.
