President Petro Poroshenko expects that this week people’s deputies will agree on new coalition in the Verkhovna Rada and take a decision regarding the candidate for a new prime-minister, President of Ukraine’s official website reports.

“I fully agree that it is impossible to endure anarchy in the country, that’s why I expect that not later than next week we will hear good news from the Parliament”, - Head of State said during interview to Ukrainian TV channels.

“They should create coalition. Today the position “I do not want to take responsibility, I don’t want to join, I don’t want to vote, but I want to have the right to criticize” is very popular. This is irresponsible for the country. Those responsible deputies, I hope there will be majority of them in the parliament, that they will ensure the creation of coalition, propose a candidate for the prime-minister. This should be on Tuesday”- Petro Poroshenko added. He noted that he expects that a newly created coalition will propose Volodymyr Groisman for the post of the Head of the Cabinet of Ministers. Meanwhile, President emphasized that he is ready to work with any Prime-Minister.

The Head of State believes that other composition of the Verkhovna Rada will not be better. That’s why it is necessary to search for ways of regulation of political situation in the country with its current composition.

“I am probably the first president, who categorically does not want to and will not allow to have confrontation either with Parliament or with government. I would like to clearly state – there is no other parliament and the next one will not be better. And in this situation we should ensure that Parliament fulfilled those tasks and obligations, which they undertook, when they signed the coalition agreement and completed the reform process”, - said Head of State, noting that it will also refer to decentralization reform and others.

In this context Petro Poroshenko noted that he also expects that Parliament will pass the program of governmental actions, in which there should be a clear list of draft laws on cooperation with the International Monetary Fund, Ukraine’s fulfillment of obligations on implementation of Association Agreement, including a deep and comprehensive free trade area and action plan on visa-free regime, implementation of Minsk agreements, will ensure progress in the peaceful process in the East.

“I am sure that we can achieve very good results, including in economic sphere”, Head of State summarized.

President also noted that he is ready to start consultations on the candidate for the post of General Prosecutor immediately after the formation of new coalition.
