Prime-Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groisman conducted a meeting with Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs Victoria Nuland, during which the parties discussed the future activities on implementation of reforms in Ukraine, their support from the USA.

Volodymyr Groisman informed the interlocutors about the working priorities of new government.

“The real state of affairs is very complicated. And today this state of affairs requires the maximum concentration and maximum loyalty to reforms in the country, on which today we concentrate”, the Chairman of Government emphasized.

The Prime Minister emphasized the determination of the government to implement those reforms, which are aimed at overcoming the corruption, including the reform of Ukrainian customs.

In her turn Victoria Nuland congratulated Volodymyr Groisman with the appointment as the Prime-Minister and expressed support to the new government in its resolute intentions to implement necessary reforms in economic and social spheres, in energy sphere, in the anti-corruption sphere. “Ukraine has already demonstrated a huge progress, we have a lot of work in the future”, she noted.

Assistant Secretary of State acknowledged the readiness from USA to allocate the next package of financial guarantees for Ukraine after Ukraine adopted the draft laws, important for continuing reforms, which were determined under agreements with the International Monetary Fund.

The parties also discussed the progress in fulfillment of Minsk agreements. Victoria Nuland acknowledged the commitment of US Administration to the principles of observance of territorial integrity, sovereignty and inviolability of Ukrainian borders.
