President Petro Poroshenko conducted the meeting with Carl Bildt, the former Prime Minister of Sweden and the member of International Advisory Board, according to the press-office of official online representation of the President of Ukraine.
“We are grateful to you for your active position in supporting Ukraine. You are the real friend of Ukraine, and we highly appreciate it”, - President said.
Petro Poroshenko emphasized that new government has started “with new efforts and true determination” the work, aimed at further reforming of the state in all spheres.
Carl Bildt highly appreciated the results, achieved by Ukraine in the process of necessary transformations, and emphasized that Ukraine’s success is very important not only for Ukrainians, but also for the whole world. “Notwithstanding that in future Ukraine has a lot of work to do, I am confident that you will cope with it successfully”, he assured.
The President presented Carl Bildt with the vyshyvanka on the occasion of holiday celebration.
