Mary Yovanovich would like to familiarize with changes, which take place in the country.
US Ambassador to Ukraine Mary Yovanovich intends to travel across Ukraine in order to familiarize with changes, which take place in the country, and hear what Ukrainians are striving for.
“I think that much has already been gained and we in USA are already expecting to continue this fruitful cooperation with Ukrainian society”, she said to journalists in Kyiv on August 29.
She noted that she plans a set of familiarization trips across Ukraine. “I am looking forward to travelling across Ukraine in order to see these changes, which take place in the country, and hear and see, what Ukrainians are striving for”, - the ambassador said.
The ambassador reminded that previously she already lived and worked in Ukraine and is happy to return here. She also noted that many changes have occurred in Ukraine for this time.
“We agree with the opinion that Ukrainians deserve to live in the country, which is the part of the European continent, in peace, integrity and democracy. I think that the USA is the friend and partner of Ukraine. And so it will continue”, - Yovanovich noted.
