On September 2, the Pecherskyi District Court seized 20 oil wells of Esko-Pivnich and 12 oil wells of The First Gas & Oil Company, which belong to Burisma Group, owned by Ex-Minister for Ecology and Natural Resources Nikolai Zlochevskyi.

This is evidenced by the relevant court rulings dated September 2, published in the Unified State Register of Court Decisions, the Economic Truth reports.

The seizures were committed upon the petition of Head of Chief Department for Economic Criminal Proceedings Investigation of the General Prosecutor’s Office Dmitrii Sus.

The General Prosecutor’s Office confirms that within 2013-2014 the executives of Burisma Group companies evaded taxes for the total amount of UAH 180 mln. 

In particular, in Esko-Pivnich LLC 2 oil wells were seized at Derkachevsko-Voitenovska area, 5 oil wells – at Karaikosovske deposit, 12 – at Rakytnianske deposit and 1 – at Rohanska area (all – Kharkiv region).

In LLC “The First Gas & Oil Company” 12 oil wells were seized at Proletarskyi deposit in Dnipropetrovsk region.

In addition, the court seized 1 oil well of System Oil Engineering (belongs to Cyprian Diloretio Holding Ltd) at Vodianovska area in the Kharkiv region.

As it was reported, all the above-mentioned oil wells were seized by the court on July 1, 2016, but later these decisions were appealed and the attachments were removed.

Burisma Holding was founded in 2002, it composed of 4 operational companies, dealing with development of oil wells and extraction of hydrocarbons – Esko-Pivnich, Pari, The Fisrt Ukrainian Gas & Oil Company and Aldea.

Burisma Holdings owns 20 licenses for the extraction of hydrocarbons in Ukraine.

The company is owned by Former Minister Nikolai Zlochevskyi.
